In summary, the massage will be an integrative and intuitive and will be using a variety of massage methods in a partnership with your comfort levels to pressure and rhythm to facilitate your body's healing and relaxation responses.

Injury Treatment Massage techniques include a wide variety of methods for the rehabilitation or restoration of function due to loss because of an injury or illness. Modalities in this category used are systemic deep tissue, manual lymph drainage, connective tissue, trigger point, sports massage, neuromuscular therapy, stretching, exercise suggestions, and hydrotherapy (hot & cold packs & steam).
Pregnancy Massage and Post-Partum Massage has innumerable positive effects! It alleviates back pain-especially low back and sciatic pain, neck and shoulder tension, reduces swelling and calf cramps, nourishes the skin, lessens fatigue, relieves headaches, provides stress relief, and offers deep relaxation that is felt by the baby as well. Studies have shown that pregnancy massage reduces complications, labor time, and pain. Post-partum massage helps move fluids, tone and rejuvenate abdominal muscles, and pamper and relax the new mom. Massage after a C-section will help postural compensations after abdominal surgery, improve circulation and healing, and prevent restrictive scarring. Massage is wonderful throughout the childbearing year during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.
